Adirondack Shirt
Featured only in the Summer 1987 catalogue: “Plaid shirts traditionally go with crackling fires and low wind-chill factors, but we’ve broadened tradition to give them a summer home. This lightweight cotton one recalls the pleasures of camping in northern forests: pine-scented zephyrs, and owl’s call at dusk, the glassy sheen of a lake at dawn. The loose weave and deep, roomy sleeves give skin a breath of fresh air, and the slightly nappy fabric gets softer as the long days of summer unfold. In three old-fashioned plaids, a cool and colorful trailmate.”
