Safari Shoe

The Leather and Canvas Safari Shoe has a very distinct look for a deck shoe, with its leather and canvas mix. It was sold from Spring 1986-Spring 1988.

From the catalogue: “When we came upon boss of genuine Italian military canvas–tough, handsome, and (naturally) khaki colored–it seems as natural as walking to combine this strong and durable material with a solvate: soft, pliable, grainy Italian leather. The product of this matchmaking is a surpassingly rugged and versatile walking shoe. Moccasin-style uppers support the sides of your feet, while rubber deck soles keep you firmly on your chosen path. These are the shoes we’d take from the Kalahari to the Kremlin, or anywhere we had serious stalking in mind. “
