Donegal Cardigan Vest
From the 1984 catalogue: “Different as they are (and are they!), the British, the Scots and the Irish do share a few things in common. Fog. Mist. Drizzle. Which they endure, indoors or out, with tweedy, leather buttoned vests that take the snap out of the cold wet atlantic winds. Our Donegal Cardigan Vest, of course, suits country squires and urban ramblers on either side of the Big Pond.”
Thanks to @orangepeelvintage for the photos!
I’ve been trying to i.d. a vest I’ve had awhile. Turns out, I think it’s the ladies’ Donegal vest in ‘wood’ color. It’s a large, but fits kinda tight, guess because it’s a ladies’ size. I’ll email a pic in a bit.
